Two years ago, it only took one email from the U.S. Department of State to change everything. One acceptance letter, one suitcase, and one plane ticket that carried me across the ocean.<\/div>
Next thing I know, it only took one return flight to take it all back, leaving me stranded between two worlds.<\/div><\/div>
When I was younger, it only took one TV series to introduce me to the Ivy League\u2014its prestige, its rigor, and what I once thought was an untouchable realm. A place where I could never imagine someone from a small town in Poland.<\/div><\/div>
But sometimes, it only takes one to prove yourself wrong. One idea, one unshaken belief, one letter that changed my future. And on March 27, it only took one admission offer\u2014accompanied by a nearly 1.5 million PLN scholarship\u2014to make my next four years possible.<\/div><\/div>
I am beyond thrilled to announce that I will be joining the University of Pennsylvania, one of the world\u2019s best universities and a proud member of the Ivy League. With an acceptance rate of just 5.5% and around 2% for international students, this is an honor beyond words, and I am endlessly grateful for being able to join the Class of 2029.<\/div><\/div>
Sometimes, success takes more than one. So to my family, my educators, and everyone who believed in me\u2014thank you.
